Sharing my coordinates
I used the free MotionX GPSLite (for iPhone) to send my coordinates to the wife whenever we stopped at a control. It sends an email with the coordinates time and a link to the GoogleMaps showing the location I share. This can be set to be done manually as I did or automatically at set intervals. It can send the same email to several addresses and also to some of the lame social networking sites. I like it and the wife appreciated the updates.
